Hamtramck Blow-out Review
60 Second Crush is another band you've probably heard of and who's been in Jam Rag quite a bit. The writers
like 'em - would the crowd? You know it! They were up
to party, and 60 Second Crush delivered!
They kind of reminded me of Stone Temple Pilots for some reason, just a little faster though. That might
not be fair because I don't know their music, but that was my first impression - not all the time but it was
there, that's for sure. Their second song was faster punk-type shit, and I was digging it and they were too! And even when they do
their slow breakdown parts, it's still really choppy and crunchy. They had the grooves going for sure, and
these guys and girl (on bass) seem to be really having fun doing what they're doing.
They even mentioned playing in Germany and Amsterdam -
how cool would that be! 60 Second Crush didn't slow down and neither did the crowd. |
